Kristen Greene, PhD
Dr. Kristen Greene is the Director of the Center for Couple and Family Therapy and a member of the Teaching Faculty for the Department of Family and Child Sciences. Dr. Greene is a Clinical Fellow in AAMFT as well as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and currently serves as President-elect of the Tallahassee Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
Dr. Greene has over a decade of clinical experiences that include working with severe mental illness and substance abuse within the Tallahassee Memorial Behavioral Health Center, at-risk adolescents and their families, and Sexual Abuse Treatment Programs. Dr. Greene’s primary clinical interests are crises within families and the resiliency that follows.
Dr. Greene has taught college courses in the Department of Family and Child Sciences for many years. She values the importance of linking her clinical experience to the course material and loves being in the classroom.
